Under a two-year contract with the U.S. Army, a Salt Lake City-based robotics firm is testing a 150-pound suit that could create the soldier of the future. The suit can multiply its wearer's strength and endurance as many as 20 times by sensing and almost instantly amplifying every movement the wearer makes. The Army plans initial field tests next year.

Elizabeth Marie Bain, 22, disappeared as she made her way to the University of Toronto's Scarborough campus in the early evening of June 19, 1990. Her body was never found. Nearly 18 years later, Robert Baltovich has been found not guilty in Bain's murder after he was convicted in 1992. Baltovich's lawyer maintains sex killer Paul Bernardo was behind Bain's disappearance.
